This series, I explore my concept of self through bug-human hybrids,
translating my experiences of navigating the world into their existence. I embed my
emotions and experiences within these creatures, hoping they reflect my inner world.
~ Big world ~
I am just a bug in the world.
A big world.
Looking up into the blue.
It's so big.
I crawl into a rock but it's still big.
Up here I can see other creatures
Someare frolicking freely and others graze gracefully.
Their worlds seem just the right size.
With tiny feet I carry myself
Up and up and up but I'm so tired
And the world is still so big.
On a small leaf I curl up tight
Closing my eyes I remember
I am just a bug in a big world.
