Beanie Bear Post is a monthly snail mail club centred around art, nature, and magic. Each month, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated envelope filled with artwork, information, and interactive activities, all inspired by what I’ve been exploring lately.

This project came from my love of nature and handmade art. After spending more time reconnecting with the natural world and researching plants, folklore, and magical themes, I felt really inspired to bring that into my art practice. I also wanted to create something that captures a sense of curiosity, nostalgia, and childhood wonder. There’s something really special about receiving physical mail, and this is my way of sharing that feeling with you.

If you’re new to snail mail clubs, think of it as a bundle of goodies arriving in your letterbox each month, something to open slowly, keep, and revisit.

October theme: Spring

Since the arrival of spring, I’ve been loving noticing all the new life appearing around me. From little insects in my backyard, to trips to my local reserve and visits to my parents’ home in the rainforest, everywhere I look seems to be teeming with something new. Tiny creatures tucked amongst the leaves, birds high in the treetops, and flowers slowly beginning to bloom.

I’ve carefully gathered some of my favourite discoveries from the beginning of spring into this month’s Mail Club to share with you. Inside, you’ll find a little blend of education, illustration and fun activities, all designed to encourage you to slow down, look a little closer and get curious about the natural world around you.

All of the illustrations and artwork in this month’s Mail Club were created from my own photographs and observations collected since the beginning of spring. I wanted each piece to feel personal, almost like taking a little piece of my adventures home with you.

I’ve also chosen mostly recycled and plant-based papers throughout the collection. This felt like an extra special detail, helping to connect the materials back to the natural environment that inspired this month’s adventure.

What you’ll receive:

• A 4 × 6 art print ~ An artwork inspired by a Yellow-breasted Scrubwren returning to its nest to feed its hungry chicks.

• A letter all about spring ~ Filled with fascinating facts, my own observations and little illustrations inspired by the things I’ve spotted. Printed on paper made from sugarcane by-products.

• Sacred Kingfisher bookmark ~ A photograph of a beautiful Sacred Kingfisher, cut along its wing so you can use it as a bookmark, or keep it whole as a little print for your fridge, journal or wherever you’d like.

• Colouring page ~ See if you can spot the hiding Spectacular Crab Spider sheltering inside an orchid.

• Spring crossword ~ Use the clues to uncover words scattered throughout the crossword and the other contents of your Mail Club letter. Printed on recycled paper.

• Spring blooms infographic ~ A little collection of photographs I took of spring blooms I’ve spotted, along with some extra information about each one.

• Recycled paper envelope ~ Printed with an Ipswich Daisy design and made from paper containing pineapple by-products.

• A shimmery wax seal ~ A final little detail to seal your springtime bundle.

I hope this month’s Mail Club gives you a little reason to slow down, look a little closer and notice some of the incredible life hiding all around us.

Sign-ups are open until the end of October, and each little bundle will be carefully packed and sent as orders come in.

Each month features a new theme, with limited quantities available.

I aim to print, pack and ship all orders as quickly as possible. During busy periods, please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be packed and dispatched.
