This print is inspired by the beautiful Richmond Birdwing Butterfly, native to southeast Queensland and northeast New South Wales. It’s now considered a threatened species here in Queensland, so I really wanted to base this piece around it. Highlighting how special our local wildlife is and hopefully encouraging people to learn more and support them in whatever way they can.
